HONOR MISSION - Full Funeral
MSG Charles Esther Worshim, 77, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, Killeen, TX
The family of Master Sergeant Charles Worshim has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service and Interment of their Loved One.
Charles was drafted in the US Army in 1960 and served in Vietnam. He served honorably in the Army for 22 years and retired as Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Army, he maintained close ties to soldiers by working on Fort Hood at Range Control until his final retirement in 1999. Flagline Establishment : 0955 +/- Once the Funeral Service begins; we will strike the flagline and prepare to participate in the procession.
Note : Be at staging ON TIME and TOPPED OFF .

Staging Time : 1105
Staging Location : The cul-de-sac between the Walk of Heroes and the Memorial Shelter at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery located off TX 195 just south of Killeen, TX (http://tinyurl.com/CenTexVetsCeme )
Setup & Briefing : Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession from Killeen.

WX : Sunny, with a high near 83. South southwest wind around 5 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
Notes :
1. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
2. After the interment, the flags will be left in place for our second mission which will arrive at the cemetery at 1400.
