1st Sgt Stanley P Howle, 82, US Army, Retired, Korea and Vietnam Veteran, Killeen, TX
The family of First Sergeant Stanley Howle has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service and Interment of their Loved One.
Stanley graduated high school in Rains, South Carolina and joined the Army in 1953 at Ft Knox, Kentucky. First Sergeant Howle served his country proudly for 30 years and was deployed to Korea and Vietnam. He married Myrl Smith in June of 1955 in South Carolina and they were married for almost 60 years. Myrl was a devoted wife to Stanley as she followed him with their family in tow to several military bases around the world, including Germany, before finally settling here in Killeen in 1978. Stanley retired from the Army in 1983 and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time.
