The family of Master Sergeant Jesse Carrington has requested the presence of the CenTex Patriot Guard Riders at the Interment of their Loved One. Information concerning the Funeral Service and Procession are pasted at the end of this CenTex Addendum for your convenience.
Jesse passed away on August 26, 2015 in Bryan, Texas. He served one tour in the US Air Force then transferred to the US Army, serving our nation for a total of 27 years and attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. After retiring from the military, he continued to serve his community as a Harris County Juvenile Probation Officer. Jesse enjoyed riding motorcycles. He started with the Patriot Guard Riders in South-East Texas and after moving became the Senior Ride Captain of the East Texas PGR. Jesse also rode with the Kruzin' Eagles RG in Madisonville. He supported the Alpha Battery, 1-21 FA, 41st Fires Brigade through the American Legion Post #335 in Centerville, Texas where he served as Adjutant/Finance Officer. His family has requested that the PGR be present at his services. The Mission is a 'go' and all contacts have been made.
Visitation: Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Madisonville Funeral Home, 1511 E. Main St., Madisonville, Texas 77865.
Funeral Services: 10:00 AM, Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015 at the Madisonville Christian Fellowship Church, 2973 Hwy 21 East, Madisonville, Texas 77864 (3/4 mile East from Madisonville Bu-cee's)
This is a three part Mission with Central Texas PGR handling Part Three at the cemetery.
Part 1 - Service
Staging: Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015 at the Madisonville Christian Fellowship Church from 8:15 AM to 8:30 AM with a riders meeting at 8:45 AM.

Part 2 - Escort
Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Madisonville Funeral Home, 1511 E. Main St., Madisonville, Texas 77865 from 5:45 AM to 6:15 AM with a riders meeting at 6:15 AM. Procession will depart Madisonville precisely at 0630 AM.
Large flag bikes are requested but keep in mind this will be a 122 mile escort mission and plan accordingly. Directions to the cemetery will be given by the Ride Captain.

Part 3 - Interment
Interment with Military Honors will take place at 10:00 AM on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015 in the Prairie Grove Cemetery near Aquilla, Texas. The East Texas Patriot Guard will escort from Madisonville to the cemetery where the Central Texas PGR will provide graveside honors. See Addendum above.
All new members are requested to sign a PGR Release of Liability prior to Flag Line. Please remain flexible as to the requirements of the mission (SEMPER GUMBY).

ALL GROUPS, CLUBS, INDEPENDENTS, ETC. ARE WELCOME. The only prerequisite is RESPECT. Also remember, you do not have to ride a motorcycle to join in. The flag line is open to all who wish to participate.
