CSM Manley D Galloway, 84, US Army, Retired, Korean War and Vietnam Veteran, Bronze Star(2) and Purple Heart(2) Recipient, Kempner, TX
The family of Command Sergeant Major Manley Galloway has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service and Interment of their Loved One.
CSM Galloway passed away last Tuesday in a Temple hospital from injuries sustained in an auto accident that also claimed the life of his wife. He enlisted in the Army in 1948 and served honorably for over 29 years, retiring in 1974 at Ft Hood as Command Sergeant Major. During his time in the Army, Manley was a veteran of Berlin Airlift, Korean War and the Vietnam War. For his devoted service to his country, Manley was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster and the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster and "V" Device as well as numerous other awards.
