SHORT NOTICE HONOR MISSION
Pfc Alejandro M Rivera, Sr, 92, US Army, WWII Veteran, OF Temple, TX
The family of Private First Class Alejandro M Rivera has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Interment of their Loved One.
In 1944 he joined the US Army and served as an infantryman during WWII. Upon his return from the war he married Isabel Rodriguez in Cameron, Texas and together they started their family and eventually settled in Temple. Alejandro enjoyed raising his livestock, cooking Sunday breakfast, listening and dancing to Tejano music, and was occasionally seen at the local HEB. He is a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A life lesson taught to those who knew him was to, ''work hard and be honest." Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Sunny, with a high near 90. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.

2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
