CDR Francis T Kostohryz (MD), 88, US Navy, Retired, Military Doctor, OF Memphis, TN
The family of Commander Francis F Kostohryz has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral and Committal Services of their Loved One.
He fell in love with the sea and took time off from school to sign on as a Merchant Marine in order to earn his tuition money. He graduated from UTMB in 1956, and then joined the Navy, where he served from 1956 until he retired in 1980. While in the Navy Frank served as a Submarine Medical Officer, general practitioner, radiologist, and Chief of Radiology.
