SFC James Garro, 68, US Navy/US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, OF Kempner, TX
The family of Sergeant First Class James Garro has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
After high school, he joined the United States Navy and served for four years during the Vietnam Conflict onboard the USS New Orleans. He later joined the United States Army, and served for another twenty two years. James was a combat medic, serving all over the middle east. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before noon, then a slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 58. North northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

1. Be at staging ON TIME.
2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
3. A mask or face covering will be mandatory, due to the mandate from the State of Texas.
