SGT Johnny Martinez, 72, US Army, Vietnam Veteran, of Waco, TX
The family of Sergeant Johnnie Martinez has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral and Committal Services of their Loved One.
Johnny was drafted in the US Army during the Vietnam War on May 7, 1968. He was trained to be a cannon crewmember and became a member of Battery B, Second Battalion 36th Field Artillery Regiment. He fought in Vietnam from January 1969 to January 1970, and was discharged in July of 1970.
