SGT William Scannell, 59, US Army, Veteran, of Killeen, TX
The family of Sergeant William Scannell has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
William entered the Army in August of 1980 in San Diego California, and worked as a wheel vehicle repairer during his time in the service. He served during the Kuwaiti Liberation, and also spent five months station in Asia before leaving the service for over twelve years. He was last stationed at Ft Hood Texas.

Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1300. Partly sunny, with a high near 91. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon.

1. Be at staging ON TIME.
2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
