1LT Cary Scott Gollnick, 73, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, Purple Heart Recipient, OF Bertram TX
The family of First Lieutenant Cary Scott Gollnick has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Cary was assigned to MACV Advisor command as forward observer and in Vietnam in 1968, wounded September 18, 1968 in Phuoc Long Province from artillery fire.

Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 0800. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

1. Be at staging ON TIME.
2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
