SSG Edward Bryant, 72, US Army, Retired, OF Copperas Cove, TX
The family of Staff Sergeant Edward Bryant has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Edward Bryant served twenty years in the United States Army and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant, all while traveling the world. He was especially proud of his time in the service as a military police officer. He was awarded an Army Commendation Medal, an Army Achievement Medal, a Good Conduct Medal, a National Defense Service Medal, an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Korea), an NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Numeral 3 Army Service Ribbon, Number 2 Overseas Service Ribbon, a Driver and Mechanic Badge, Rifle and Pistol Expert Badge, and the Joint Service Achievement Medal. He was a member of the American Legion and the Copperas Cove VFW Post 8577, including the 40 and 8 and Cooties clubs. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Sunny, with a high near 98. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
