LTC James Cooper, 88, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, OF Harker Heights, TX
The family of Lieutenant Colonel James Cooper has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
He received an appointment to the US Military Academy, West Point, NY, and graduated with the Class of 1955. He served twenty one years on active duty with assignments to several posts in the US and Panama, Germany, and Vietnam, earning a master’s degree along the way. He retired at Fort Hood in 1976. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Sunny, with a high near 94. Light south wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
