SSG Randall Fix, 82, US Air Force/Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, Police Officer
The family of Staff Sergeant Randall Fix has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Randall joined the US Air Force after graduating high school, and served in the branch for over nine years. He enjoyed the military lifestyle so much, he joined the US Army when he got out of the Air Force and served twenty three more years, and completed two tours in Vietnam. He served as a Military police officer for twelve years, and as a Correctional Specialist for six years. Randall received numerous medals and honors while in the Military, including the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Oak Leaf Clusters. After he retired from the military, he became a Police Officer in Copperas Cove, Texas for many years. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Sunny, with a high near 75. South wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
