LtC Leone Jane Dipboye, 77, US Air Force/Air Force Reserve, Retired, OF Belton, TX
The family of Lieutenant Colonel Leone Jane Dipboye has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
After graduating, Leone joined the United States Air Force, where she was stationed in Alaska, Florida, and Crete. It was in Crete where she met the love of her life. After she married, she left the Air Force and joined her Army pilot husband in Germany. Leone joined the United States Army Reserves as a nurse, continuing her military career. She retired from her civil service nursing job at the Carl R Darnall Army Medical Center in 2004, and the US Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2005. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
