1LT Doug Rising, 77, US Army Reserve, Veteran, OF Jarrell, TX
The family of First Lieutenant Doug Rising has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Doug joined the US Army and went through officer training at Fort Benning in Georgia and was then stationed in Fort Hood in Killeen, TX. Doug visited both Germany and Thailand during his time in the service . He was also temporarily appointed a Captain on February 24, 1970.

Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 58.

2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
