HONOR MISSION
SPC Michael Ortiz, 37, US Army, Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran, of Belton, TX
The family of Specialist Michael Ortiz has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Michael was a proud US Army Combat Veteran. Michael didn’t feel he was doing his part as a Soldier, so he volunteered to deploy in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, September 2005 - December 2006. He gave six years to the United States Army and loved being a Soldier. He also served as a military spouse for ten years. His entire obituary may be found here: https://www.dossmanfh.com/obituary/michael-ortiz

We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.
The Family has asked if the Patriot Guard will present four folded flags to the SPC Ortiz family on Thursday. If you're interested, please post here so I can send word to the funeral director that we can do it.
