CPL Earl Mullins, 81, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, of Harker Heights, TX
The family of Corporal Earl Mullins has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Procession and Committal Services of their Loved One.
Earl joined the US Army in 1960, and retired after over twenty years of service. While serving, he received a National Defense Service Metal, Vietnam Service Metal w/ 2 Bronze Service Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Metal, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry w/ Palm Unit, Good Conduct Metal Clasp, Bronze 5 Loops, and Expert Rifle. Staging Location: The cul-de-sac between the Walk of Heroes and the Memorial Shelter at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 SH 195, Killeen, TX 76542 (http://tinyurl.com/CenTexVetsCeme)
Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Partly sunny, with a high near 78. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Notes:
1. Be at stagingS ON TIME.
2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
3. All four wheeled vehicles will report to the cemetery and wait for the procession.
