SSG Gregory Dale Wood, 74, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, of Temple, TX
The family of Staff Sergeant Gregory Dale Wood has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
After graduating from high school, Gregory enlisted in the United States Army, where he served with distinction for many years. During his time in the military, he took on various roles, including military police and mechanic. In 1985, Gregory retired as a Staff Sergeant, throughout his military career, Gregory received numerous decorations, including the Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Ribbon. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
