SPC Christopher E Harmon, 38, US Army, Retired
The family of Specialist Christopher E Harmon has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
At nine years old, Christopher proclaimed he would be in the Army, and joined the Army July 24, 2003. During early enlistment program his stated goal was to be Air Assault and a member of Rakkasan, and he was assigned to 187th Infantry Battalion Company A. He retired from the army in 2005 with a National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.

1. Be at staging ON TIME.
2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.

We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.
Chris' mother has asked if there is a rider who will be willing to meet her at the entrance and lead the family to the shelter with the urn. Bike either has to have a second person, or a place to keep the urn without shifting.
