SFC Howell Embrey, 73, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, of Killeen, TX
The family of Sergeant First Class Howell Embrey has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
After finishing school, Howell joined the Army and was deployed to Vietnam. Howell served honorably in the US Army as a heavy equipment mechanic and combat engineer. During his time in the Army, he and his family had the opportunity to live in multiple countries and states until he retired in 1992 while stationed at Ft Hood, TX. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Sunny, with a high near 41. Breezy, with a north wind 20 to 25 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
