The family of First Sergeant Carl Mertz has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Carl served in the US Army from 1959-1984 as part of 377th Transportation Company with tours in France, Thailand, Germany, and various stations in the United States. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1300. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 88. East wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
