SPC Richard "RTO" Curtis, 74, US Army, Vietnam Veteran, Bronze Star Recipient, of Temple, TX
The family of Specialist Richard Curtis has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
RTO served in the US Army from 1969 - 1971, and served two tours in Vietnam. He served as a Ranger sniper, a tunnel rat and a medic on a sniper team. He also earned a National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter M-14, Expert M-16, the Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, and the Bronze Star. After serving in the Army, RTO supported the community and fellow Vietnam Veterans as a member of In Country Vietnam MC, and went on to become a brother of US Veterans MCs Lonestar Chapter for several years until his passing.

Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.

2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
