SSG Thomas Lechowicz, 77, US Army National Guard, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, Volunteer Firefighter, of Temple, TX
The family of Staff Sergeant Thomas James Lechowicz has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral and Committal Services of their Loved One.
Thomas entered the Army National Guard as a Mechanic, and also a Recruiter. During his service, Thomas earned the He worked as a military contractor master mechanic, and retired on May 14th, 1996. During his service, he earned the Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Silver Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Driver Mechanic Badge with DVR Bar (W) and Sharpshooter badge. After he retired, Thomas continued to serve his community and his fellow veterans as a member of VFW Post 10377, American Legion Post 55, The DAV and the Brotherhood of Vietnam Veterans.
