CW3 Edison "Frank" Johnson, 73, US Navy, Retired, of Bruceville, TX
The family of Chief Warrant Officer Edison Franklin Johnson has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral and Committal Services of their Loved One.
Frank enlisted in the US Navy after high school, and was trained in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). Frank retired from the Navy at the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3 after twenty years of dedicated service, for which he received many honors, and where he developed many lasting friendships. After retirement, Frank moved to Bruceville and continued to travel the world as a military contractor and in other capacities where his EOD skills were needed. He helped dispose of the extensive Iraqi bomb arsenal during Operation Iraqi Freedom and searched fields in Texas for debris from the Space Shuttle Columbia, which broke up upon re-entry.
