Below is an invitation to the Patriot Guard Riders of Texas from the Dixie Region of the Patriot Guard Riders.

This is the weekend prior to the Texas Gathering of the Guard

Please forward this to your riders.

Mike “Gunner” Lambert
State Captain
Texas Patriot Guard Riders

While Texas is not part of the Dixie Region, this year's event is being held in Monroe, Louisiana. We graciously extend an invite to our Western neighbors to attend. After all, No Borders! Hope you can make it!

2013 Dixie Regional Gathering of the Guard
"Biking On Da Bayou"
Monroe, LA

The Great State of Louisiana is proud to host the 2013 DRGOTG! Come enjoy a little bit of Cajun hospitality, food, and camaraderie. This year's event will be held in Monroe, LA on the Northeastern side of the state. Louisiana became an official U.S. state April 30, 1812 and is known as Sportsman's Paradise. Nestled in Ouachita Parish, Monroe has a rich history that many of you likely didn't know. Monroe is the birth place of Delta Airlines, the first place west of the Mississippi to bottle Coca Cola and the oldest human dwelling site (Poverty Point) in North America. For more Historical information about the State, please visit Monroe Chamber of Commerce.

On to the good stuff!

This year's Gathering will begin April 18th and conclude April 21st. The event itinerary will be released once all details have been nailed down, but we think you will enjoy. The host hotel information is below, along with some nearby hotels. The Host Hotel also has everything inside, so regardless of weather, the Gathering will go on!

We look forward to seeing you in April!
