CONFIRMED PGR EVENT - Thursday, 12 Jun 14
Texas USO/TAPS Good Grief Camp Out, Parrie Haynes Ranch, Killeen, TX

The Texas USO and the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) (http://www.taps.org/) has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to welcome and honor the Gold Star Families attending their Camp Erin/TAPS Good Grief Camp Out (http://www.taps.org/Camps/2014/Texas/) being held at Parrie Haynes Ranch in Killeen, TX.

We will set up an informal static flagline prior to their registration process (1600 - 1730), Thursday, 12 Jun 14, at the Hilltop Complex at Parrie Haynes Ranch and stay to greet the families as the arrive.

Date: Thursday, 12 Jun 14

Staging Time: 1400

Staging Location: Store on the NE corner of the intersection of SH-195 and 2670/Triple 7 Trail.

Briefing: 1410

KSU: 1430 - From the store we will proceed as a group to Parrie Haynes Ranch Hilltop Complex - Please ride with the group as this is very hard to find if you have not been there before.

WX: Information not available at this time. CHECK the weather before departing home for this mission.

Notes:

1. Please arrive at staging ON TIME & topped off.

2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.

3. DO Consider bringing yourself a snack or light meal.

4. The road to Parrie Haynes Ranch consists of loose gravel, dirt and dust for 2.1 miles. If you are not comfortable with riding in these conditions you are welcome to cage it. THE BIKES DO GO FIRST!

Please join us as this is a wonderful opportunity for our members to interact with these families under circumstances much better than when we stood for their Loved Ones during the funeral process.
