Greetings,

Would you please distribute the following to all State Captains in your region.....thank you.

I am sure you have been following the story of SGT Bowe Bergdahl who was recently released by the Taliban.
 
We are all very glad to have an American back and out of danger but information concerning the circumstances of his capture have been troubling. 
 
After much discussion, the [National] PGR Board has decided to ask that all Captains stand down any plans for welcome home celebrations for SGT Bergdahl.  We do not, nor is it our responsibility to, declare SGT Bergdahl guilty of any crime or dishonorable act.

Should anyone wish to attend a welcome home for this soldier, we ask that you do so as an individual and not as a Patriot Guard Rider.
