The family of Specialist John Daly Senior has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
John served in the United States Army and the Reserves faithfully as a tank driver, which he enjoyed the experience while stationed at Fort Hood and Fort Sill. After John's time in the army. He also volunteered as a firefighter; and served as the President of the Elm Mott Volunteer Fire Department. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1300. Sunny, with a high near 94. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Notes:
1. Be at staging ON TIME.
2. Riders will be requested to meet the family at the visitor center to escort the family to the shelter.
3. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
