T5 Maxie Lewis Sanders, 101, US Army, World War II Veteran, Round Rock, TX
The family of Technician Fifth Grade Maxie Lewis Sanders has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Maxie entered active service in the US Army on May 24, 1943 and was sent to Europe to help with the Allied Offensive as a rifle marksman and a portable power generator operator. He fought in the Ardennes and Rhineland Campaigns, and earned a good conduct medal, American theatre medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Theatre medal with two Bronze Stars, and the Victory Medal of World War II.

Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Sunny, with a high near 93. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
